Python vs Perl vs Ruby vs PHP vs Java

I don't know what the hell's going on but...

Java is slow.
php is a sorry excuse for a "language."
Perl's cool.
Python<Perl.
Ruby is more powerful than Perl and more Object Oriented than Python (and of course php) and is full of win.

Ruby doesn't scale.

PHP is really no match to Python. I have been PHP developer for 3 years and switched to python because i feel Python is more like a hybrid language. Because of python flexibility features i can easily scale.

I am Philip. I am a trainee php programmer. Just a fresh piece started studying php. But from an company environment. Right now i am studying using w3schools website. Its really helpful but somewhat i can't understand some of the scripts.
